Which cookies Global Films Greece uses and why — no third-party advertising or analytics cookies in this version.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a browser stores on your device when you visit a site. They help the site work, remember choices or — on other sites — measure traffic and show ads.
There are first-party cookies (set by our domain) and third-party cookies (set by another domain, for example an ad network). General background: www.aboutcookies.org.
2. What we use today
This version uses only strictly necessary cookies and equivalent local storage to run the site. We have not installed Google Analytics, the Facebook Pixel, ad networks or other third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
For aggregated traffic statistics (for example how many views a page had) we use Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing that identifies you: visits are counted with an anonymous identifier that changes every day.
That is why there is no consent bar for optional cookies: we do not ask consent for tools that are not running. If analytics or advertising cookies are added, this page will be updated and consent will be asked before they start.
3. Categories you may see
Language / locale — next-intl stores the chosen language (EL or EN) so links stay on the right edition. Required for the site to work.
Display theme — if you pick the light or dark theme in the header, the gf-theme cookie remembers your choice for one year. It is only set when you use the switch and holds no personal data.
Partner session — if you sign in to the portal, Supabase sets session cookies (access and refresh) so you stay signed in and other people cannot see partner material. They last for the session or until you sign out.
Partner cart — for signed-in partners, cart lines are kept in the browser's local storage so they survive page changes. Nothing is sent anywhere until you submit an order request.
Form protection — technical submission checks (for example timing and a honeypot field) so automated posts can be rejected. They are not used for advertising.
Hosting infrastructure — the host may set strictly technical cookies for routing or security. We do not use them to profile visitors.
4. How to control them
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, language switching or portal sign-in may fail.
Per-browser instructions are usually under Privacy or Settings, and at www.aboutcookies.org.
